We're heading to Cody, Wyoming today.

And away we still go...and go and go.  Yesterday, after a leisurely
breakfast at the motel in Fargo, we headed west.  We stopped in West
Fargo, looking for what had been my favorite steakhouse, Smokey's, but
it's gone.  It's a little strange.  The main thing I recalled from my time
spent in North Dakota related to the cold and snow.  I forgot what a
beautiful state this is.  There is that "big sky" phenomenon you
experience in Montana, the gently rolling plains of much of the Eastern
and Central parts of the state, then, the stark beauty of the badlands.  I
forgot about all the lakes, too...nothing to compare with back home in
Wisconsin or Minnesota, but still beautiful.  We stopped and gawked at
the big buffalo and the big cow, and we saw the chicken, the crane and
the miniature Sinclair dinosaur.  We stopped for a while at Fort
Abrahamn Lincloln in Mandan, too.  It was a long day, but most
enjoyable, talking, listening to good music, and meeting wonderful
people.  We got into Miles City, Montana, late in the afternoon,
composed our report and started thinking about today.  We slept in
again (I could get used to this), then it's Westward to Billings, Montana,
then South to Cody, Wyoming, by mid-afternoon, with, no doubt, some
interesting stops along the way.  We'll arrive in town in time to see the
Cody Gunfighters stage their last shootout of the season in the streets
outside  the Irma Hotel.  Then it's dinner at my favorite restaurant in
Cody, Cassie's.  We'll report more tomorrow.  Hope you're all doing well.

Day 3
Maybe it's something in
the water, but they sure do
grow 'em big in North
Dakota.  The big buffalo is
at the Buffalo Musem in
Jamestown.  As Sherry
demonstrated, when the
chips are down, the
buffalo is empty.  The
dinosaur is in front of what
used to be a Sinclair
gas station.  Didn't he go
to work with
Fred Flintsone?  The big
Prairie Chicken and the
forty food crane at Steele
are for the birds, too.

Must be going dry, though.  Jay squeezed and
squeezed, but barely filled that pint bottle.
