SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 12
Whoever said it was right: home is where the heart is.  And, now, so are the bodies.  We got back to our little
house early yesterday afternoon, unpacked the car and cratered.   During the drive across South Dakota and
Minnesota, we kept asking one another, "What part of the trip did you enjoy most?"  I think the answer turned out
to be, just being with each other.  All the wonders of God's beautiful Earth that we saw were beyond my powers
of description and appreciation, but we hope the pictures helped.  The  meeting of so many genuinely kind and
generous people made everything else that much more enjoyable.  But the dearest friends are your "home"
friends, and we are so glad to be back among our own.  Breakfast this morning with the gang, sharing some
stories, chatting about last night's race (Carl Edwards coming from the back of the field to win; Go Flipper!),
running (make that meandering, maybe even sauntering) a few errands, and goofing for the rest of the weekend.
We've enjoyed sharing our trip with you.  Thank you for your interest.  This is our last report for now.  See you
Monday on the radio.  Oh, one more thing:  next Saturday, September 19, we'll be in downtown Eau Claire for the
International Fall Festival, with Nancy and Ken at Wildwood Crafts and Treasures, at Main and Barstow.  We'll
have all kinds of neat stuff for sale.  Hope to see you there.

We all remember 9/11, where
we were, what we were
doing, and what we felt.
This 9/11, yesterday,
coincidentally or not, began
with some images that
helped us recall a sorrowful
time with hope for our future.
Please join us in asking God
to Bless America again.
