Rusty Wallace, the
All-American boy.
Almost.
C-store or instructions to an
absent-minded geezer?
Coming soon to Jay's Bike
Boutique, at Jay's Mall,
Where There's Plenty of
Free Parking, & Some of it's
Paved.
Heading South, on the
road to Gatlnburg.
At the Ripley Museum, a buffalo
with extra drumsticks, and a
politician practicing for a similar
anatomical maneuver.
Maybe it's Jay's background in Moonshine country, but Mr. Hase
seemed to have more than a casual interest in this location.
We visited "The Magic
Shop" in Gatlinburg, where
Dan the Magic Man
showed us some magic,
and Mr. Hase tried to get
him interested in a good
dental plan. A real fun visit.
We had a great lunch at
Bubba Gump's Shrimp
Company, some of the
best shrimp we've ever
had. Mr. Hase was
smitten with Sara, our
excellent server, who
entertained us with
"Forrest Gump" trivia
and brought us super
food. Oh, Sherry was
impressed with the
indoor plumbing at
Bubba Gump's. You
can take the girl out of
Clayton, but...
We visited the Wax Museum, where Mr. Hase discovered that, yes, it's all wax in Hollywood,
helped Lucy sell Vitameatavegamin, and Jeannie really has no navel.
Mr. Hase gave an acting lesson to Bradleardo DePittlio, got scared half silly by Boris
Karloff as "The Mummy", and got to sit through more congested traffic on the way back
to Hidden Mountain. Another great day, that was gonna be a short one, but lengthened
a bit as we met more friendly and enjoyable people.
