We're here in Sevierville.
Thanks to Mr. Hase, the Guardian Moose who kept us safe in our
travels.
SPECIAL THANKS to Stubby, the Diagnostic Wizard who helped us
through our car trouble last night.
Also, SPECIAL THANKS to Jim & Bobbi for providing us with such a
beautiful place to stay here in Sevierville.
Saturday morning at
Tuscola, IL, and Mr.
Hase didn't want to roll
out..."I'm  still sleepy,"
says he.  However,
breakfast got him
moving.
Taking a backroad East, heading toward Indiana, going through Dieterich, IL, Sherry saw a
sign that read "Veterans Memorial."  This is what we found...a beautiful little park that salutes
the many men and women from this little village who've gone to war for our sake.
So many patriots from this tiny place.
It makes you proud to be an American.
On into Indiana.  Mr. Hase saw this sign and said,
"We gotta tell Santa I want a toy tow truck, a sack
of Moose chow, a flying squirrel, and my own disc
jockey."
Richmond, Kentucky, and the last Culver's for a while.  More stops, more food.
And you know what that's gonna mean...
Biffy stop, biffy stop, biffy biffy,
biffy stop. Biffy stop, biffy stop,
biffy biffy biffy stop.  More biffy
breaks than a sales meeting at
the radio station.  Gives you an
idea what these people mean
when they say they're "on the
go."
Heading toward Louisville to cross the Ohio River from Indiana to Kentucky,
but...first...a word from our traffic jam...more construction.  Are these the
same guys we ran into back home in Wisconsin?  They drive the same, but
they sure talk funny when they tell you where to go.
Don't much care for driving
under this bridge on top of a
bridge, but that's the way to
get there.  I guess that Indiana
license plate says it all, for all
of us.  We got a lot more biffy
shots, but enough is enough.
Tonight in Tennessee.

JUST A NOTE TO THE WISE:
As we traveled along through Illinois, we went through a town named Olney.
Evidently they have had some of the same wrangling about High School Team
Mascots. Their contenders are called "THE WHITE SQUIRRELS."
Let this be a warning to you.
