LUNCH
BACK
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 10
We started Saturday the way we like to start every Saturday, at one of our favorite
restaurants with our friends Dick and Donna.
Then it was off to Bloomer!
NEXT STOP:  BOHEMIAN OVENS
MONDAY LUNCH AT THE OVENS
October 26, 2009
An e-mail from some devoted listeners from West Bend, WI lead us to
lunch at Bohemian Ovens in Bloomer. Tim and Rob are some of West
Bend, WI Police Department's finest, Dave, from Manitowac, is Tim's
Dad. They find their way up to Potato Lake every once in a while to
enjoy Moose Country. They bring along the three lovely ladies pictured
at the left. At the top is Elly, on the picnic table are Kali and Morgan.
Finding their way to Potato Lake would be enough for bragging rights,
but, now they will be the envy of all the city folk at home when they tell
them that lunch included Cow Heel Soup.
This group is "one of us" (bad grammer, good sentiment)
Come back soon.
Tim , Jay, Rob, and Dave.
A visit to the Bohemian Ovens is always
and enjoyable experience.
The Snails, pictured at the above left were
delicious. Hot, just out of the big brick
oven. The Soup was fresh and hot, just
the thing for a chilly fall morning.

Our Host, Mike Hable, was on hand to
tempt us with some fresh Carmel Apple
Bread.
Yep, that's the Early Guy and the Early
Bride to the left. We snapped this picture
to prove that Mike does actually take time
off the tractor to take Margaret out on the
town.
