DOGS
Tex waiting for a command from Jay.
Aw, come on Jay, just a few seconds more.
Ahhh, that felt good.
A cool dunk in the tank.
Tex gently moving the sheep.
TEX THE
WONDERDOG
From the archives...
This is Tex at a Farm
Progress Days
demonstration. It's hot
work, so they keep stock
tanks full of water to cool
the participants down.
Jay gets asked quite often about Tex and the other dogs he trained. The answer is always the same.
Jay says, "When I lost Tex, my heart just wasn't in it anymore. He was my favorite and he was the
best." Jay competed with Tex until Tex told him it was time to rest.
~INTRODUCING~
Jay's newest cousins.
Gracie's Litter of Golden Doodles.
They currently reside in Bumpass,
Virginia.
Hmm Bumpass, Virginia...sounds like a
couple good names for some cute
dogs. We'll be visiting them in a little
over a month.
Thanks for the pictures Beth.
We have a dog that is from you. She is a beautiful
border collie, Nellie. She is almost 7, and has two
different colored eyes.
Nellie is a wonderful dog with great herding instinct.
She lives down here at the Bullfrog Fish Farm, and
does her "job" of chasing the herons away. She also
loves to greet everyone that comes to the farm to see her
(I'm sure she thinks that's why they're there) She also
likes to herd the ducks and the cats. One of her favorite
things is to bark at the pigs when we feed them. She
was diagnosed about a year ago with spondylosis, but
she's on medicine for it, and it doesn't stop her from
doing what she loves. Thank you for such a wonderful
girl.-Trisha Spinler

Jay's best 4 legged friend, Tex the Border Collie, always in his heart often on his mind.

FINNEGAN the Squirrel
tiny creature and began caring for
him, she found herself with an
unlikely nurse's aide: her pregnant
Papillion, Mademoiselle Giselle.
Two days after giving birth, mama
dog Giselle allowed Finnegan to
nurse.

Reba and Pumpy
Reba (in the foreground) says, "Pumpy is not only
pillow! I'm glad this is my new "forever" home."
Thanks Cindy for sending the picture and for giving
another "Lost Soul" a loving home.
