SUNDAY, OCTOBER 11

We started Sunday the way we start most Sundays, at one of our favorite restaurants
with Dick and Donna. Then it was off to rural Eleva.
Jay and the Pleasant Valley Lutheran
Church Chicken Chefs.
What a beautiful church,
inside and out.
We were treated to a delightful concert by the
Stout Hearted Men from Pigeon Falls.
They are going to be in concert in the
Whitehall High School Auditorium on the 5th
of December. Showtime is 7:30. Tickets will
be available at the door for $4.
Enjoy this Christmas Concert.
JAY WITH SADIE
Sadie sent in the notice for the Fall Bazaar at
Pleasant Valley Lutheran Church. With it she
put a personal invitation for Jay to come and
the rest is history. Such a sweet lady.
The picture shows some of her handiwork.
She assembles some of quilts that are sold at
the Bazaar.
We found some cookies and a loaf of
sensational Banana Bread that needed some
where to go. There are no pictures available
as they have been devoured.
Al Gore once took credit for starting the
World Wide Web, well we know better.

WWW. starts right by the Pleasant Valley
Lutheran Church. As you can see, it goes
everywhere from there.

Vickie Price, Shelter Manager and Angie
Jordan - Adoption Coordinator were on
hand to answer any question about the
shelter and how to adopt some love.
The shelter brought alon a nice display that
showed some of the animals that have
benefitted from the facility and they provided
a lot of useful information for potential
adoptive families.
If you're thinking about increasing the size of your family with a pet, please
consider a shelter animal, like we did. Our little Duffy is the perfect addition to our
home. He came to us fully house broke, well mannered, and loving.

SOUP FEED AT STATION 3
On Saturday, January 23rd we
ventured about a 1/2 mile from home
to Chippewa Falls/Lafayette Fire
Station 3 to slurp up some GREAT
soup!
They had Chili, with or without
macaroni and a tasty Potato and
Sausage Soup, breads, and a
DESSERT TRAY.
The food was tasty and the crew that
prepared and served it were lively.
What a great afternoon!
Keep watching for other fundraisers
by this group, they know how to do it!
